Please take a few moments to read through the following policies to be sure you're prepared when you arrive for training & events.
General Enrollment Info
Enrollment is approved on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the order in which completed applications are received (enrollment form and payment). You will receive confirmation from your instructor once your complete enrollment package has been processed.
Arriving at the Studio
Not every dog coming to the studio wants to be greeted by strangers, so please give all dogs the space they need and deserve. We do not permit nose-to-nose greetings on the premises. For very social dogs we may have special opportunities. Please speak with your Instructor.
The first meeting for our Companion Dog I class is our human-only orientation (no dogs), so please plan accordingly. Click the following link for orientation information and class instructions before attending classes:
Safety for Children & Dogs
Children are welcome to quietly observe training at the studio, however, for their safety and for the comfort of all dogs in our studio, children must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times.
Dogs must be under control at all times. Dogs must be kept on leash unless otherwise directed by your Instructor. Dogs must never be left unattended.
Cash and checks are preferred, although we do accept credit/debit cards and online PayPal payments (a processing fee will be added to total). Please take note of your Instructor for check payment purposes.
We depend on meeting our enrollment numbers to start each class. Please set up an appointment to observe a class prior to registering to ensure FFD, Inc. is the right choice for you and your dog. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after class has begun.
Owners/Handlers are responsible for prompt clean up of ALL dog waste both indoors and on the property. Please bring doggie bags with you to class and dispose of all waste in specified locations. If you do not have a bag, let you Instructor know and we will provide clean up supplies for you.
Females in Season
Unless permission has been granted by your Instructor, females in season will not be permitted to attend classes and/or training. Owners may still attend class.
Dogs deserve sick days, too. Please do not attend classes or events if your dog has been ill. Notify your Instructor in advance for all missed materials.
Adult dogs must be current on Rabies and Distemper vaccinations and will not be permitted to participate until proper documentation has been provided. Bordatella (Kennel Cough) vaccinations are recommended, but not required. Puppies must be adhering to a proper vaccination schedule and under the care of a licensed veterinarian.
If we feel that it is unsafe to be on the roads due to inclement weather conditions, we may cancel classes. If public schools are closed, it is safe to assume that our studio will be closed also. Occasionally we will cancel classes due to extreme heat and humidity. You will be contacted if this occurs and the missed class will be rescheduled.
These rules are designed to ensure a safe and positive experience for every dog and handler team partaking in classes and events at our Studio.
Dog owners are responsible for any and all damages and liabilities caused by their dog to any person or property.
